Mack. Mack was brave and stubborn, willing to carry out a contract despite the danger if it was paid well.During the Republic's initiative to resettle the planet of Taris, he and several other mercenaries under his command were hired by the Taris Resettlement Authority
to scan the sliding plate area for structural damage to ensure it was safe to rebuild there. The mercenaries went there, but the area crawled with rakghouls
before retreating to Kanner Outpost. Even though the job paid very well, Mack was unable to convince his team to return and complete the mission, which infuriated him.When a group of Republic operatives
arrived at Kanner Outpost, Mack approached them and asked to perform the scan, promising to share the payment with them. The operatives completed the task, allowing Mack to receive at least part of the promised payment.
